Signs of Spring

Galanthus nivalis

I caught this clump of snowdrops during the freakishly warm weather last weekend. Temperatures have cooled off since then, but the snowdrops have faded, and a few daffodils located in warm sites are starting to open up.

Spring has never meant that much to me being down here in south Florida where nothing ever really seems to change...but seeing it through the eyes of bloggers has taken on a new meaning for me! I am searching for a special Geranium now...which is a "spring" thing for me! Those snowdrops are so pretty!!!

More bulbs like scilla are starting up this week, and the earliest magnolias, too. Very exciting! I think I'd miss seasons if I lived in Florida :)
